Sump Basin Pump Lift Stations

Sump basin pump lift stations are a great solution for transferring wastewater from large batch dumps, such as rinsing or clean in place (CIP) operations for food and beverage or pharmaceutical production facilities. The large capacity fiberglass tanks are installed below grade to permit gravity drains from production vessels. The sump basin lift stations feature submersible pumps mounted on guide rails to permit removal without entering the confined space of the basin. The pumps can tolerate solids mixed in the wastewter without plugging or jamming. Sump Basin pump lift stations can be equipped with one, two or three pumps to meet flow rate and redundancy requirements. They come complete with level switches to automatically start and stop the pumps.

Key features of standard Wastech Sump Basis Pump Lift Stations are:

  • Fiberglass tanks
  • Inlet trash screens and pumps are removable without entering the basin
  • Simplex, Duplex and Triplex pump arrangements available
  • Level switches to operate each pump and to activate a high level alarm
  • Can be configured for non-hazardous or classified installations
  • Compatible with optional remote controls in non-hazardous, explosion-proof or intrinsically safe configurations
  • Custom designed configurations are available
